You know how you keep checking order status? And once it ships you track the item? And then you keep a list of items ordered, orders in progress, and orders received?

Well, it's really a sad day when that last order is received. Then you go to the AG website and it seems "silent". It doesn't "say" anything to you. And the UPS man never comes back to your house.

SO, instead of thinking "acquire, acquire" or "It's over, it's over," I'm going to think "Enjoy, Enjoy!"

First, I want to figure out a way to organize items. Currently I have the jewelry from outfits in two tiny hatboxes. But I'm going to focus on making a real jewelry box to keep AG jewelry in. Then the necklaces won't tangle and the barrettes and hair pieces will be neat.

Then I'll move on to shoes. So many new shoes and boots! I haven't figured out how to organize them yet. But they're so spiffy they ought to be visible somehow. AG sells specific shoes with specific outfits but sometimes the outfits look better with different shoes.

And I really, really, really want a place to hang the clothes. Something moveable. Like a box or crate with a hanging tension rod in it. Then the blouses and dresses won't get wrinkled. And I won't be annoyed by having to open boxes to find something... "where oh where is that..."

And finally, I'm going to focus on poor, poor AGT11, the sweet girl who arrived at my house speaking French and is still nameless.

Ok, I only wrote this post to help derail my mind from the Code Track. It's beginning to work.

How about the name Amelie? I think that's the name of a young French actress and I just think it's so pretty!

I will actually be glad when my UPS man stops coming to the house, it seems non-stop since around Christmastime!

oh my Julia! I am sorry to hear your poor girl doesn't have a name yet!

My dad made me a clothes box/rack. There's a box to store shoes and accessories and a rack to hang dresses. It was pretty easy to make and it is moveable. You can see pictures towards the end of my dolls album and TLC Doll hospital has a clothes rack and alsopattern to make a clothes rack

I use the wire cube method of outfit storage and had to buy a second set to store all of our outfits. They fit into the original 6 cubes, but I don't want anything to get wrinkled and it looks neater not so smushed. Plus now it's tall enough to put things on top so the little girls can't reach them.

I'd like a way to store all of our shoes, too. I don't have a clothes rod in the doll room to hang a shoe organizer (the one with shelves, not pockets).

And we still have a ton of stuff in hiding, for future "occasions"!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">My family really loved that movie Amelie. The name is very pretty, I second that! or how about Emilie (Ay-mah-lee) which is similar.

Post Code Goal - Clean my closet.

I will have to wait until Monday when DH is back at work and kids are back at school. I don't really remember exactly what I have in there.

My post code goal is to inventory everything I purchased and to organize it! We have a playroom upstairs that we keep our doll items at. My DH is going to be making a doll mansion in the near future and that will help to protect the furniture and accessories. I also have a built in bookcase to store other AG items and clothing but as of yet it is not organized. So it does look like I have lots to keep me busy til next "code"(hopeful). J'habite a Montr?al, donc j'ai beaucoup des id?es pour des noms! C'est trop mal que la petite mademoiselle n'a pas un nom! Vite, et donnez-elle un nom bient?t!!!

Voil? quelques sugg?stions:

Isabelle
Marie-Jos?e
V?ronique
Am?lie (Emeilie est typiquement un nom masculine)
Manon
C?line
G?raldine (je laime)
Marguerite
Jaqueline
Danielle
Florence

et, si vous aimiez un nom famille pour votre petite fille, je vous sugg?re:

Giroux
Bouchard
Saint-Pierre
Tremblay
Plamondon
(ces noms famille sont typiquement canadien-fran?aise)

That should get you in the mood to name your girl!

Rough translation: the top are some French name suggestions, and if you want to give her a last name, I wrote some typical French Canadian last names. Hope these inspire you!

I have actually tried to stay organized during the code madness. I probably have 10-15 minutes worth of organizing to do in my doll closet right now. I'll do that yet this morning.

I, no doubt, will forget what I have stashed in there anyway! I suppose I could do an inventory...but then I won't get to be surprised by what is in there! HA! I'm getting so old....

I haven't had a block of time to organize everything, which I desperately need. The best time would be when no one else is in the house to disturb me--I need nice, uninterrupted space. Too bad I can't take a day off from work anytime soon.

I ended up coding more Molly things than I anticipated. She has such adorable clothes! But I'm having some serious Molly storage issues. I am actually considering purchasing her trunk (gulp) when we get free shipping again to store everything. For those of you who have Molly's trunk, is it worth it? I have seen reviews for the other trunks but not Molly's.
